The 75-year-old woman, resident in Liguria, who had been missing for hours in Porto Cervo was found alive but unconscious.

The Carabinieri of the Sardinian Hunters Squadron have identified it in Cala Granu . The searches, activated by the Prefecture of Sassari, were coordinated by the Carabinieri Department of Olbia.
The family members had triggered the alarm : searches were immediately activated around the area where the Ligurian family, on holiday in Costa Smeralda, lived. The Carabinieri of Olbia employed several patrols from the Porto Cervo and Arzachena stations, in addition to the men of the Operational Unit and Radiomobile, alerting the other bodies and the Prefecture of Sassari which in the evening activated the provincial plan for the search for missing persons.

The support of the local Civil Protection, the barracelli and the fire brigade was therefore requested, which from Sassari sent two dog units and a team for the use of drones with infrared cameras .
During the night the searches failed. This morning, on the other hand, the Hunters of Sardinia intervened and they were entrusted with a research sector to the west of the residential complex characterized by dense and impervious Mediterranean scrub. The military, particularly trained to operate in this type of harsh environment, managed to circumscribe and beat the entire area in a more organized way, managing to locate the woman, fainted but fortunately still alive, around noon .

The 118 was alerted and with a helicopter intervened in the area, recovering the woman with a stretcher, who was then transported to the hospital.
