The Quartucciu City Council has fallen . This morning, nine councilors resigned, causing the council to dissolve and ending the administration led by Mayor Pietro Pisu. The signatures were appended at 10:30 a.m. in the Council Chamber. Resigning are four members of the majority— Ninni Piludu, Alessandro Piras, Simone Santabarba, and Deputy Mayor Elisabetta Contini—and all opposition councilors: Michela Vacca, Giovanni Meloni, Efisio Perra, Paola Cocco, and Franco Paderi .

Immediately after signing, the nine members filed their immediate and irrevocable resignations. This brings Pisu's administrative experience to a close, before its natural expiration. He was elected to a second term in 2022. The municipality could now be entrusted to a commissioner pending the return to the polls, likely next spring.
