The Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office and the Pula Forestry Corps have dismantled an organized gang of at least twenty people involved in poaching with illegal weapons and drug dealing.

The investigation began in 2024, and in recent days the prosecutor closed the preliminary investigation and notified the suspects of the relevant documents.

During the investigation, eight of the suspects were arrested: three ended up in prison and five under house arrest.

According to investigators' findings, the gang operated primarily in the area between Pula, Sarroch, and Villa San Pietro, where the illegal hunting and other alleged crimes were concentrated.
