Firefighters intervened yesterday evening in Platamona to deal with a fire that broke out in a house on Via la Torre.

The wooden structure was engulfed in flames and partially destroyed.

The promptness of the firefighting operations allowed the fire to be contained and prevented from spreading to nearby homes . During the intervention of the firefighters, about ten people were removed from their homes as a precaution.

No injuries were reported . Carabinieri and 118 were also on site.
