Starting yesterday, Sunday 6 July , the new air connection, operated by Volotea, between Alghero and Florence. The service will be twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday, for a total of over 5,000 seats on sale.

At the same time, the connection expands the travel options for passengers departing from Alghero, with direct access to one of the most beloved cities of art in Italy".

For 2025, Volotea operates 5 connections from Alghero airport: 3 to Italy (Florence – new for 2025, Turin and Verona) and 2 to France (Paris Orly and Bordeaux – both new for 2025).
