In Pirri, surveillance is increased, with more officers and a dedicated daily patrol. Since November, the local police service has been operational, operating exclusively in the territory of the Municipality. After the initiatives of the municipal administration of Cagliari, attention is also focused on the safety of Pirri with a garrison that includes two control activities: as many patrol cars will take turns, ensuring coverage from morning to night on the streets of the Municipality .
"Another step forward," commented the president of the Municipality Maria Laura Manca. "We continue to work to keep faith with the commitments made during the election campaign and to respond to citizens' reports. For us, safety is a priority, as is the recovery of the historic structures of Pirri , a symbol of identity for the local population. I thank Mayor Massimo Zedda once again for his attention and his sensitivity for the Pirri community."
The start date of the works at the headquarters of the Municipal Police section, in via Riva Villasanta 56, is scheduled for the end of January . The interventions concern first of all the restoration of the facade, with its safety. The internal restructuring of the building is being verified.
