Pirri, hit on the crosswalk in via Calamattia: pedestrian with red code

Road accident this evening in Pirri, in via Calamattia, where a man was hit on the pedestrian crossing, becoming stuck under the vehicle. It happened at Bingo, towards Via Santa Maria Chiara.

According to initial information, the small car stopped close to the crossing to let the pedestrian pass but was violently hit by a second vehicle, thus mowing down the passerby.

The man, stuck between the sheets of the car, was rescued and freed by the firefighters. Municipal police and 118 were also on site for a red code transfer to the Brotzu in Cagliari.
