The Region gives legs to the service "Pronto intervento rosa", created for all Sardinian women victims of violence, in situations of serious risk and who cannot find a place in shelters due to shortage or lack of requirements.

The council, on the proposal of the Health Councillor Armando Bartolazzi, approved a resolution with the indications for the management of the service, established by a regional law in 2018.

"The emergency response for women victims of violence and any minor children who require immediate protection must guarantee the possibility of immediate access to the housing solutions identified 24 hours a day, including holidays," reads a note from the Region, "and high protection, for short periods (minimum 1 day, maximum 1 month), but sufficient for an initial assessment, aimed at identifying times and methods suitable for the path out of violence."
