The ASL 3 of Nuoro has issued an official alert following numerous reports received by the Public Relations office, regarding attempted telephone scams carried out through fake messages that pass themselves off as communications from the CUP service, the Single Booking Center.

In the fraudulent message, users are invited to call a number to receive supposedly important information, but in reality these are premium rate numbers with prefixes 893 or 895, activated with the sole purpose of draining the victim's telephone credit.

The ASL 3 specifies that the real CUP service, when it carries out recalls, limits itself to providing details on the appointment already scheduled and never asks to contact any number again.

It is therefore important not to call the numbers indicated, not to open any attachments and not to click on links in suspicious messages.

To verify the authenticity of communications, it is always advisable to refer to the official contacts available on the institutional website of the ASL 3 of Nuoro, in the section "Contacts - ASL Nuoro"

In case of doubts or uncertainties, it is preferable not to interact with the message and report the incident to the Urp offices or to the competent authorities
