In Alghero the construction of the new center-left construction site in view of the upcoming electoral deadlines has taken a further step forward.
In recent days, in via Mazzini, a meeting took place between the delegations of the Democratic Party and the representation of "Futuro Comune".
«In a frank and cordial climate, the foundations were laid to outline the common paths to arrive united, in view of the next spring local elections, on a clear and shared program», we read in a press note.
«Here you are at home!». With these words Mario Salis, on behalf of the city secretariat of the Democratic Party, wanted to welcome the "Futuro Comune" delegation made up of Alessandra Casu, Ornella Piras and Raimondo Cacciotto, thus underlining the commonality of intent that also historically binds the two delegations .
«We understand our alliance with the Democratic Party as an essential and essential element for the construction of a coalition which, starting from the programs, is able to face the next local elections», confirmed Raimondo Cacciotto.
The group leader of the Democratic Party Mimmo Pirisi, highlighting how the two political realities have been collaborating within the City Council for some time, expressed the need for the new electoral program to be characterized by clear choices capable of clearly promoting the values of the center left. The delegates declared their willingness to broaden the scope of the alliances on the basis of shared programmatic choices. «I note with great pleasure the desire expressed several times by “Futuro Comune” to identify in the Democratic Party a firm and essential point of reference for building alliances in view of the next local elections. A recognition that we welcome with due responsibility and that we want to honor with commitment and a spirit of collaboration", commented the city secretary of the Democratic Party Enrico Daga.
