Paulilatino, truck loses semi-trailer wheels on 131: driver in hospital

Accident in Paulilatino , on the climb towards Santa Cristina.

For reasons still under investigation, a semi-trailer lost its two twin wheels which remained in the lane and the truck hit them head on. One got stuck underneath.

The driver, injured, was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The truck has already been moved but the semi-trailer will probably remain on the 131 for long hours . It will not be easy to take it away because it is fully loaded.
