A firm no to the wind farm in Paulilatino. Mayor Domenico Gallus reiterated this last night in the meeting convened in the square next to the Town Hall to illustrate to the population what the project that they would like to implement in Paulilatino consisted of. And for the occasion, people from every corner of Sardinia arrived in the town of Guilcier, representing the Committees that have been mobilizing for some time to secure the Island and its landscape, historical and cultural heritage from the assault of multinationals. Many interventions followed one another in almost two hours of meeting.

And the concern in Paulilatino is even stronger given the proximity to the archaeological site of Santa Cristina, a destination for tourists from all over the world and a candidate to become a UNESCO heritage site. One of the five shovels that they would like to install in the territory of Paulilatino is in fact two kilometers and 200 meters from the sacred well of Santa Cristina. And right here, in the coming weeks, they would like to hold a sit-in to demonstrate the reasons for the no and secure a heritage of inestimable value.
