A young man from Sassari, on the night just passed in Santo Stefano, after stealing a Lancia Ypsilon parked near the owner's home, in the center of Sassari, used the vehicle to drive around the streets of the city of Porto Torres.
The man was stopped by the military, while he was unknowingly passing by car in via Antonelli, right in front of the local barracks in Porto Torres. The men of the Arma, engaged in the prevention and control of the territory during the Christmas holidays, once intercepted the vehicle, ordered a halt to the driver who was immediately blocked.
At the disposal of the magistrate, the young man arrested is now awaiting the validation hearing. The car has not undergone any particular damage and was immediately returned by the police to its rightful owner.
