PalaSerradimigni: the completion of the work is postponed again
There is no longer time to complete the expansion by the end of 2025Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Last September the executive design of the Piazzale Segni facility was signed with the aim of completing the expansion to 6,000 seats and building the new roof in the summer months. However, the works are currently at a standstill and at this point it is more likely that the PalaSerradimigni will be ready only at the end of summer 2026.
The further postponement seems to be due to a change in the project regarding the heating. There is also the remaking of the parquet but that is a quick operation.
Dinamo president Stefano Sardara said: "No cross to bear for the Municipality: it is a complex operation and we understand it. The arena is 45 years old and it is right to think about an adequate future. If the important works are done next year, no one will die. The important thing is that Dinamo continues to play in Sassari: we are collaborating with the administration".
The works began five years ago and the cost exceeds 13 million euros.
