"Help me find a house." This is the appeal of Rosalba Orgiu, a 73-year-old from Pabillonis who, after being evicted eight months ago, has lived by moving from one home to another and "sometimes sleeping - she says - in the car." She is left with a car and some personal effects left at a friend's house.

The story

After moving to Pabillonis from Tuscany, the woman faced a difficult relationship with her former landlord who did not renew her lease. "Now they are hosting me at Croce Verde and I am grateful to everyone, but it is clear that I cannot stay here for long. I cannot wash myself when I want, I cannot cook properly. I had thyroid surgery and I need to prepare hot meals to follow a proper diet."

Mayor Riccardo Sanna: "We are aware of her situation and she is sixth in the ranking for the allocation of public housing, but it is not possible to overtake those who precede her, contrary to what she is asking. The social service has ascertained that she is not in conditions of poverty, her household is a single family and she receives a pension".
