Amidst a joyful atmosphere among the seniors at the San Giovanni residence, the mural created by San Gavino artist Giorgio Casu, known in New York for his beautiful works and numerous artistic creations in San Gavino Monreale and Cagliari, was unveiled. Casu is known for his beautiful mural at the airport and the one dedicated to Gigi Riva at the glorious Amsicora stadium. The idea came from Gianni Masala, president of the facility. "To celebrate San Giovanni, we decided to create something special for our residence, which proudly bears the name of this martyr. It is a home open to the public and the surrounding area, a place where our seniors live every day surrounded by love, relationships, and memories. For this reason, we decided to complete and enrich the residence with an artistic work dedicated to San Giovanni and to the secular and religious traditions of our country. This mural tells our story, our roots, and our identity, but it also brings color and joy to our residents' days."

The seniors immediately showed curiosity, interest, and joy for this initiative, enthusiastically following the work's creation. Present at the inauguration were artist Giorgio Casu, Gianni Masala himself, Mayor Marco Tuveri, Deputy Mayor Stefania Erdas, Councilor Valentina Erdas, Parish Priest Don Fidele Kotho, and Angela Pinna, director of the "Residenza San Giovanni."
