He disposed of end-of-life vehicles in a huge area used as an illegal landfill, without any authorization and in contempt of all environmental regulations.

It happened in Pabillonis, right in the center of town, on a plot of land adjacent to the private home of a 45-year-old man who was reported and now faces charges of unauthorized waste management and multiple violations relating to the proper treatment and disposal of end-of-life vehicles.

The targeted raid was carried out this morning by Carabinieri officers from the local station, who worked in conjunction with local police personnel, shutting down the business and seizing the land, which measures approximately 2,400 square meters.

The police determined that the unemployed man had set up a veritable illegal storage facility, likely from a car repair business. Inside were scrapped cars and piles of mechanical components and materials, dismantled and discarded in defiance of all environmental regulations.
