A 56-year-old man was injured after falling into a well . The accident occurred in Ozieri this afternoon, when he sat on the structure covering the well.
The sudden collapse caused him to fall inside .
Emergency services and law enforcement immediately arrived on the scene. Two ambulances from the Ozieri emergency service responded, along with the fire department and the specialized SAF (Speleo-Alpino-Fluviale) unit from the Sassari command. The Fire Department's Drago helicopter also arrived to provide support, along with the Carabinieri and the State Police to carry out surveys and determine the circumstances of the accident. The recovery operations were quite complex, and the man was rushed to the Ozieri hospital .
