Egas has given the green light to the water requalification project for 2,324 meters of new water pipelines in Ozieri for an amount of over 1 million 200 thousand euros.
"This is not the first intervention of this type in the town of Logudoro, but over the last few years the inhabited center has been affected by various works to modernize the water network, with the construction of new pipelines and the insertion of engineering systems which have made it possible, gradually, to contrast and contain the dispersion of water and achieve better management upstream of the plants", Egas said.
The works will be immediately contracted out by Abbanoa.

The next planned intervention will allow the construction of over 2 kilometers of pipelines in ductile iron, a highly resistant and long-lasting material, in Via Alfonso Lamarmora, Via Pasquale Tola, Via Ugo Foscolo, Via Alcide De Gasperi, Via Canonico Salvatore Cossu, Via Rino Canalis, Via Vittorio Veneto, Via Andrea Salis Solinas, Via Paolo Comida, Via Tripoli, Via Giuseppe Grixoni.

For the president of Egas Fabio Albieri "the results achieved in the municipality of Ozieri are the demonstration that with careful planning and targeted interventions we can strongly combat the phenomenon of water dispersion and thus reduce waste to protect the environment".
