"Costa Smeralda" crowded for the Gallura stage of Job Day Sardinia. Thousands of visitors for this second episode of the tour dedicated to the encounter between supply and demand; at Olbia Airport thousands of candidates arrived to take job interviews in person - or to present their curriculum vitae - and fifth year high school students from local institutes invited to participate in seminars and professional training meetings.

«We are at Job Day in Olbia, the second one, the example of what our employment centers will become, a meeting point between supply and demand, between the unemployed and companies, institutions and the world of work, between young people and training. In Gallura there is a need for targeted work - said the councilor Ada Lai - who also announced that on the occasion of March 8 the new actions of the regional government will be presented in support of business and women's work".

The morning began with the cutting of the ribbon, in the presence of the Vice-President of the Region, Giuseppe Fasolino. «Job Day is an important moment because we talk about work – he underlined -. It is important that we met people in six stages in the territories, this gives companies the opportunity to meet more people, understand what we can do to encourage hiring and give opportunities to job seekers".

Premises with record numbers, the expected results are important. «There was an important response both from the business side, around 3,380 vacancies collected, and an excellent response from young, less young and unemployed people towards those who proposed their candidacy. About 2,000 people have registered, about 4,500 applications – specified Maika Aversano, general manager of Aspal – numbers that give us hope and understand how important it is to animate the area with single events, understand the driving production sectors and above all the professional qualifications required and how work is changing and therefore also the skills that are necessary for the needs of companies".
