Carabinieri from the Iglesias Company arrested three local youths for conspiracy to distribute narcotics.
The officers, driving through a residential area of Decimomannu , noticed a car parked in a public parking lot with three people inside. When they approached for a check, one of the occupants made a sudden movement in an attempt to conceal a dose of what later turned out to be hashish in his shoe . This behavior aroused the Carabinieri's suspicions, prompting them to investigate further.
A subsequent personal and vehicle search revealed a package containing approximately 570 grams of marijuana hidden in the back seat of the car, as well as additional quantities of drugs on the three young men's persons: several grams of cocaine and hashish, some of which were hidden in their clothing and shoes.

One of those present was also found with €1,945 in cash, divided into various denominations of banknotes , believed to be consistent with possible drug dealing. All the material was seized.
Those arrested are three unemployed young men, a 20-year-old, a 23-year-old and a 19-year-old , residents of Decimomannu, two of whom are already known to the police.

Once the incident had been reconstructed, the three were escorted to the barracks and, once the formal procedures had been completed, taken to the court in Cagliari for a summary trial.
