Three years ago in Ossi he entered the home of an 86-year-old woman and attempted to rape her.
Today in Sassari court, a 52-year-old resident of the town was sentenced to three years , in a summary trial, by preliminary hearing judge Gian Paolo Piana. The judge also ordered the payment of €5,000 to the civil plaintiff, and the man is expected to serve his sentence with community service.
According to the charges, in 2023, the defendant broke into the elderly woman's home after threatening her. Then, according to the indictment, he pushed the woman onto the bed, demanding silence and threatening her with death. Then, with his pants down, the man attempted a sexual advance but fled as soon as the woman started screaming. While fleeing, the man allegedly also uttered a threat: "We'll see each other another day."
The 52-year-old was represented by lawyer Elisabetta Udassi, while Silvia Ferraris represented the civil party.
