An important recognition for the honey produced by Giovanni and Francesca Tronci of Ortacesus , at the 26th edition of the Typical Sardinian Honey Quality Award, which took place in Guspini, as part of the traditional Honey Festival.

The Trexente-based company received a Certificate of Quality for its clover honey, one of the products submitted for evaluation at the event. For this specific botanical variety, the Ortacesus company was the only one to receive an award. The competing honeys were examined by experts from the National Register of Honey Sensory Analysis, based on the organoleptic characteristics of the different products.

For Giovanni and Francesca Tronci, it's the result of their beekeeping efforts and honey production, which is tied to the diverse flora found in the area. Clover, in particular, is a variety characterized by a delicate aromatic profile and specific organoleptic properties.

The Typical Sardinian Honey Quality Award, now in its twenty-sixth year, is part of the historic Guspini Honey Festival and annually attracts producers from across the island. For the Ortacesus company, the recognition for its clover honey adds a new milestone to local production and once again brings the Trexenta region to one of the region's leading honey initiatives.
