Since yesterday morning, the area in front of Su Barone beach in Orosei has been off-limits to cars.
At the request of the Nuoro Public Prosecutor's Office, officers from the Regional Forestry Corps' Naval Base have placed the entire parking area under judicial seizure.
The measure was implemented following inspections into the management of the beachfront parking lot, which the Municipality has granted to a cooperative. According to the rangers' findings, entry was permitted to more vehicles than the 180 limit set by the Coastal Use Plan (PUL).
