A distinguished voice from Oristano was featured at "Assisi Pax Mundi 2025." The Polifonica Arborense participated in the international festival, which this year celebrates the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis's Canticle of the Creatures with the theme "Cum tutte le tue creature."
On Friday, the choir thrilled the audience at the Cathedral of San Rufino with a concert dedicated to praise, specifically with a performance of Italo Bianchi's "Canticle of the Creatures." On Saturday, the Polifonica performed at evening mass in the Lower Basilica of San Francesco and shortly thereafter participated in the closing concert of the series, along with other choirs from across Italy.
"These days in Assisi have been a moment of great artistic and spiritual value for the Polifonica Arborense, a celebration of dialogue and shared beauty through music, with a hope for peace throughout all creation," they said in a statement.
