A new car park with about thirty parking spaces is now available in via Campania in Oristano.
The project is by the Municipality, with a 103 thousand euro contract awarded to the Basciu di Marrubiu company for 76 thousand euro, and in addition to the parking lot, it provides for the safety and removal of architectural barriers at the nursery school in via Campania.
"This is a long-awaited work that meets the expectations of the residents, of the families who bring their children to the school in via Campania every day and of the school operators themselves" explain the mayor Andrea Lutzu and the councilor for public works Francesco Pinna who made a final inspection this morning.
The parking lot, the mayor and councilor continue - "in addition to about thirty parking spaces also has its own access roads, will mainly serve the school and has walkways without obstacles and unevenness".
The new works will guarantee safe access to the school for carers, children and staff, connecting the urban pedestrian context, from via Brianza to via Verga.
"In this way, therefore, a safety problem is solved that was strongly felt in that area, especially in the hours of entry and exit of children from school, due to high motorcycle traffic and motorists who too often do not respect the speed limits ", the conclusion.
