A completely illegal auto repair shop and a "do-it-yourself" management of hazardous special waste. This is the scenario discovered by officers from the Judicial, Environmental, and Building Police Unit of the Oristano Local Police in the city's northern industrial zone . The operation concluded with the precautionary seizure of the facility and the filing of a complaint against the owner.
During the inspection of the premises, the officers found themselves confronted with a veritable unauthorized landfill. Numerous special and hazardous wastes were piled up inside the workshop, stored without any traceability or compliance with current health regulations. Among the materials seized were filters, belts, used engine oil, and worn tires, all illegally stored.
Subsequent administrative investigations revealed that the workshop, despite sharing space with a legitimate business within the same area, was a "ghost" for the tax authorities and the state. The business was completely without permits and licenses, and the staff was found to be undocumented.

The garage and all the waste inside were placed under criminal seizure.
