A building was evacuated overnight in Oristano due to a fire. The flames, the cause of which has not yet been determined, broke out around 11:00 PM in an apartment on Via Carducci.

Firefighters arrived on site and, as a precaution, evacuated the building as the building was filling with smoke .

The fire was contained within about an hour . Investigations are underway to determine the cause.
