The Oristano State Police arrested a man red-handed for possession with intent to deal and aggravated theft of electricity from the public grid.

The operation was conducted by personnel from the IV Section of the Flying Squad, with the support of the canine units of the UPGSP Police Headquarters of Oristano.

Thanks to the drug-sniffing dog Piton , half a kilo of cocaine was found in the house, some of it already divided into doses and hidden in several safety deposit boxes located in various rooms of the house.

During the operations, several doses of MDMA, marijuana, and hashish were also seized, along with all the materials needed to package the drugs, including precision scales and cutting tools. The officers also seized approximately €12,000 in cash.

During the investigation, the Flying Squad officers, with the assistance of specialized technicians from the electricity distribution company, also verified that the property was being powered by an illegal connection.
