An award in memory of Dr. Gisella Masala , spokesperson for the Committee for the Right to Health of the province of Oristano and the soul of the garden at the Oristano Hospice, who recently passed away.
The Committee for the Right to Health of the Province of Oristano and the University of Cagliari – Department of Medical Sciences and Public Health – will award the prize to medical researchers and oncology residents studying pancreatic and intestinal tumors on Friday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m., at the Museo Diocesano Arborense in Oristano.
Following greetings from representatives of the Committee for the Right to Health, remarks will be made by Professor Mario Scartozzi , full professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Cagliari, Professor Clelia Madeddu , associate professor at the same university, and Dr. Filomena Panzone , oncologist at the Oristano Local Health Authority. Gisella Masala was a highly professional and compassionate physician and dentist, always committed to the right to health. She passed away at the age of 59 last March, after a battle with a serious illness.
