Oristano: A theft at the Aroma Bar during the holidays results in house arrest.

The alleged perpetrator of the theft that took place during the Christmas holidays inside the Bar Aroma, in the center of Oristano, has been identified and arrested.

The suspect is an Italian citizen, already known to law enforcement, and is believed to be responsible for the theft of several hundred euros.

The investigation was conducted by the Carabinieri of Oristano, who began their investigation immediately after the business owner filed a complaint.

The analysis of images from both public and private video surveillance systems proved crucial, allowing the military to reconstruct the stages of the theft and identify the suspect.

The man, previously under investigation for similar property crimes, was reported at large to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Oristano. Investigations also revealed that the suspect was already subject to a precautionary measure requiring him to remain in the Municipality of Oristano.

Given the repeated criminal conduct and the rapid identification of the perpetrator, the Carabinieri requested that the Prosecutor's Office extend the precautionary measure to prevent further crimes. In the early days of the new year, the Court of Oristano ordered the man to be placed under house arrest, which was carried out by the Carabinieri.
