Oristano, 31-year-old man becomes ill while driving and crashes into fence.

There were moments of fear yesterday afternoon in Torregrande following an accident involving a 31-year-old man from Cabras . The young man was immediately rescued and taken to San Martino Hospital for further evaluation.

According to initial investigations, the 31-year-old was driving his Fiat 500 when he felt ill and lost control . The small car ended up inside the construction site near the Tower, crashing through the orange fence that demarcates the work area in the main square of the seaside village.

The alarm was raised immediately, and an ambulance arrived on the scene. Initially, the boy's condition appeared to be quite serious, so much so that air ambulance assistance was also requested. The situation then seemed to stabilize, and the young man was transferred to the hospital for further treatment; initial findings suggest his life is not in danger.

The Carabinieri of the Oristano Radiomobile section also intervened in Torregrande.
