Orgosolo, a new mural against energy speculation in memory of the shepherd Ovidio Marras

Orgosolo relaunches the battle against energy speculation with a new mural , which appeared last night in via Rinascita , a stone's throw from the one dedicated to Doddore Meloni .

Created by artists Pina Monne, Archimede Scarpa and Giuseppe Zichi, it pays homage to the figure of the shepherd from Teulada Ovidio Marras . Who said “no” to the offers of real estate developers, never selling his lands in Capo Malfatano.

The work, promoted by the muralist Pina Monne in collaboration with the Municipality, is characterised by the flag of the four Moors, enclosed in a large shovel (half a tree with its roots anchored to the ground).

In the background, the figure of Marras, flanked by the verses of the local poet Kikkissu Mereu: «Ca solu chie de Sardigna es fizu, ammirat e difesa sa bellesa».
