Familiar faces, suspicious behavior. These are the elements that led the Pula Carabinieri to conduct a search of a Mini Cooper in Maddalena Spiaggia, along State Road 195, last night. Their hunch paid off: 100 grams of heroin were found in the vehicle, leading to the arrest of a fifty-six-year-old and a fifty-two-year-old, both from Pula.

The investigation was also extended to the homes of those arrested. In the 56-year-old's home , 16 additional doses of heroin were found, weighing a total of 10.3 grams, along with €6,030 in small denomination banknotes and various materials used to package the drug.

The two were placed under house arrest, pending the direct hearing scheduled for this morning.
