The victim is a motorcyclist, who collided with an SUV while traveling along State Road 195.
After the impact - the dynamics of which are being rebuilt - the driver of the car stopped and called for help.
Firefighters, 118 personnel and carabinieri intervened on the spot.
Attempts to rescue the centaur, however, proved useless.
