«Red weather alert in the Pirri area on Tuesday 9 May». But don't worry, it's just a test.
From 10 to 14, the Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Cagliari has programmed a simulation of a red code meteorological alert in the Municipality area.
"In this context - explains a note from the Municipality - the procedures for the Parks, Green and Wildlife Management Service will therefore be activated, which provide for the involvement of the Terramaini Parks, Ex Vetreria and via Eroi D'Italia, with the posting entrances to signs bearing the following wording "Park closed due to weather alert (Red) of 9 May 2023 (Simulation - Exercise)".
But, despite the signs, "it is important to highlight that during the course of the simulation the Parks will remain open to the public".
At the end of the exercise the signs in question will be removed.
