"Our event continues to attract not only our fellow citizens but also countless tourists. It was a success once again." Alessandro Daga, president of the Ollolai Pro Loco, is delighted. Hard-fought races aside, this is the secret to a highly regarded event. The village comes to life, the impeccable organization, and the historic center offer a unique view. Piazza Marconi was transformed into a boiling cauldron until 1:00 AM last night. In Ollolai, the 22nd edition of the Palio degli Asinelli ended with widespread acclaim. Record crowds in the stands, and even the local accommodations were packed .

Hospitality

The village of Ospitone welcomed the event. "It was a wonderful edition," said Pier Paolo Soro, the driving force behind the Ollolai Pro Loco. "The accommodations were fully booked for days, and the square was packed with large crowds. The satisfaction is palpable because we once again demonstrated the hard work of an entire community. Our square is magical, it lends itself perfectly, but the credit for this success goes to the entire town: it contributed to the success of the initiative."

Bind

The Piazza Marconi ring provided thrilling races. The many tourists in attendance appreciated them. They left the coastal towns without a trace of regret. The victory in the Palio degli Asinelli went to Giuseppe Talanas, riding Django. He also received a check for €2,500. In the other race on the program, "Su Palu de sos vihinados," Giovanni Columbu, representing Su Montriccu, triumphed, like last year.
