A concert to bring a Christmassy atmosphere to the hospital wards and offer a moment of serenity to patients and healthcare workers. Yesterday morning, the "Sos Astores" choir from Golfo Aranci performed inside the San Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia, transforming the Gallura hospital's wards into an evocative stage of sounds and traditions.
The choir, led by Antioco Tilocca and directed by Maestro Peppino Orrù, performed its repertoire of songs in Limba, singing two traditional Sardinian songs in each ward. A traveling musical journey through the wards, the aim was to offer a tangible sign of closeness and lightheartedness to the many hospitalized patients and the medical and nursing staff.
The initiative, promoted by the nursing unit of the Gallura Local Health Authority, received great enthusiasm, sparking excitement and smiles and contributing to the festive and sharing atmosphere that is the true spirit of Christmas.
