The trail of arson attacks in Olbia does not stop.

Once again, parked cars are in the sights. Three were set on fire by unknown persons last night.

The alarm went off in via Sebastiano Caboto, where the firefighters went into action to put out the flames. Despite timely intervention, the cars were all completely destroyed. State Police officers were also on site.

Almost 20 cars have been set on fire in the city since the beginning of the year, in incidents which are suspected to be linked. A "chain of fire" which is increasingly causing alarm among residents and which was also the subject of a parliamentary question presented to the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi by the Sardinian League member Dario Giagoni.

The police are continuing their investigations to trace those responsible.
