Sit-in, in Piazza Matteotti in Olbia , by nurses, health care workers and technicians from the Mater Olbia Hospital and the Policlinico Sassarese who joined the national strike called by the trade unions CGIL, CISL and UIL to protest against the failure to adapt the employment contract of employees in the health sector in private facilities to the public one.

Representing the approximately three hundred workers of the Mater and the 160 of the Policlinico, a large delegation demonstrated to ask for " fair treatment with that of the operators who work in public health ".

The secretary of the Civil Service of CGIL Gallura, Gessica Cardia says: «We ask that the accreditation be revoked from the structures that do not renew contracts and that apply those that do not respect the dignity of workers, guaranteeing decent wages: to date, in public healthcare there has been a renewal for the three-year period 2018-2021 and negotiations are starting again for 2022 - 2024 while in private healthcare we are still behind, stuck in 2018».
