Yet another serious incident in Olbia's historic center: a 35-year-old man was stabbed and struck several times in the head with a bottle . The victim was struck twice in the abdomen and twice in the arms.
The ferocious attack took place in the heart of the Gallura city, in Piazza del Mercato , already the scene of violence and settling of scores linked to drug dealing .
The victim was surrounded by several people, first beaten and then stabbed. The man, a Moroccan national, had to be transferred to the Giovanni Paolo II Hospital, where he was admitted. Prosecutor Milena Aucone is leading the investigation into the attempted murder, which has been entrusted to the staff of the Olbia Police Station. According to reports, two people have been charged and a third is being held at the police station, accused of organizing a punitive operation to control an area commonly used by drug dealers .
