Four women and four men for the new municipal council of Olbia, announced by the mayor, Settimo Nizzi, elected for the fifth time at the helm of the Gallura municipality.

Forza Italia dominates the executive with five seats, one each for the Nizzi, Riformatori and Lega List. The councilors who will support the mayor are: Sabrina Serra of Forza Italia, deputy mayor and reconfirmed proxies to Public Education and Culture; Elena Casu (Forza Italia), with responsibility for youth policies, local police, civil protection; Antonella Sciola (Forza Italia), with powers of Public Works, Environment, Roads, Public Transport; Simonetta Lai (Lista Nizzi) maintains the mandates to social services, services for children and minors, assistance, public charity and personal services.

Marco Balata (Forza Italia) was also reconfirmed, with delegations to Tourism and Major Events; Alessandro Fiorentino (Sardinian Reformers) with responsibility for Budget and Planning, Revenue and Tax Policies, Heritage, Technological Innovation; Bastianino Monni (Forza Italia), with responsibility for Urban Planning, Private Construction, Planning and Management of the Territory; Vanni Sanna (Lega) with powers of Commerce, Productive Activities, Cross-border Policies, Hunting and Fishing.

The presidency of the City Council will be assigned to the lawyer Marzio Altana.
