Carabinieri officers from the Olbia Territorial Unit's Mobile Radio Unit, executing a precautionary detention order issued by the investigating judge of the Tempio Pausania Court, arrested a 33-year-old Tunisian man on charges of domestic violence, robbery, attempted kidnapping, and criminal damage.
According to investigations and witness statements, the man has repeatedly beaten and threatened his partner in recent weeks. On one occasion, he allegedly attacked her at night on the street, grabbing her by the neck and threatening her with a glass bottle to steal her phone and wallet. He also attempted to lock her in his car, preventing her from escaping, by placing a scooter and several rocks around the vehicle, and smashing the rear window.
Once arrested, the man was taken to the Sassari-Bancali prison as ordered by the Tempio Pausania Public Prosecutor's Office.
