A very serious incident occurred late this evening in Olbia, inside a restaurant on Corso Umberto . A man armed with a knife reportedly attacked a cashier . Several employees intervened, and the person wielding the knife struck several times.
At least four people are believed to have been injured, and fortunately their lives are not in danger . The person responsible for the attack and stabbing has reportedly already been arrested by the Olbia police station. The officers reportedly had considerable difficulty subduing him.
The reasons for the attack are still being ascertained, but they occurred in an area of the Gallura city that has already been the scene of very serious episodes of violence.
