The Administrative Police and Emergency Response teams identified about ten commercial operators who occupied the beach with various types of goods, some with actual fixed structures. According to the investigations, the operators were taking away space from bathers. Administrative violations were contested.
After checking the sales permits, the Olbia Local Police proceeded to seize several hundred items of clothing and accessories, beach items and games and violations for over 10 thousand euros were ascertained.
At the end of the activity, tens of square meters of beach were cleared of unauthorized occupations and returned to free use by bathers.
During the operation, the motorcycle group personnel, coordinated by commander Giovanni Mannoni, identified a vehicle that was allegedly being used illegally for the transport service of people to and from the beach, in the absence of administrative and professional qualifications. The vehicle was seized and the driver's license was revoked.
The activity involved 6 patrols of the Olbia Local Police coordinated on site by 2 officers, with the aim of strengthening controls on the territory in view of the tourist season.
