A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a car shortly before 1 p.m. in San Pantaleo, a hamlet of Olbia.

The man was rescued by 118 operators: in very serious condition, he was transported to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari by Areus helicopter.

According to initial information, he suffered facial, abdominal and limb trauma.

Firefighters and traffic police officers intervened on the scene.
