Another conviction in Tempio for a large shipment of cocaine seized by finance police in the port of Olbia.

The operation dates back to a year ago . Today, a young Sicilian, Giuseppe Calogero Augello, was sentenced to four years in prison.

The young man, just over twenty years old, was stopped by finance police immediately after disembarking the ferry from Livorno. In the minivan driven by Augello, approximately forty blocks of cocaine, weighing a total of 39 kilos, were found and seized. According to prosecutor Alessandro Bosco, the drugs were hidden in a cavity wall and were destined for the Gallura and Cagliari markets.

The young man arrested by the Guardia di Finanza is being assisted by criminal lawyer Antonello Desini. In recent days, two people were sentenced to five years in prison for possession of 42 kilos of cocaine.
