Two new centenarians in Olbia , the mayor, Settimo Nizzi, celebrates the century of life of Giuliana Catalani and Cora Casula , giving them a parchment of good wishes.
Born in Tempio (to a father from Olbia) and raised in Santa Teresa Gallura, Cora Casula arrived in Olbia with her husband, Giovannino Pintus, a police officer in the Gallura capital after serving in Genoa and Macomer. Cora Casula, with three children, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, turned 100 on April 21st.
Born in Civitavecchia, Giuliana Catalani moved to Olbia in 2000, following the death of her husband, an army officer at Capo Teulada, to join her son who was beginning his career as a pilot with the Alisarda airline.
