Olbia, Acciaro skips the Social Health Conference with the mayors
The DG of the ASL Gallura absent from the meeting. Among the reasons also the worsening of relations with the mayor of TempioMayors gathered this morning in Olbia , in a Social Health Conference. The general director of the ASL Gallura, Marcello Acciaro, boycotts the meeting and leaves the reasons for his absence in a letter, delivered to the mayors. According to the DG, the convocation of the Conference does not respect the regional norms that "establish that the presidency is a collegial body, chaired by the president of the Province, operational from 1 April, and not by a monocratic president", the mayor on duty.
Not only that, his failure to participate, he states in the note, is due to the worsening of relations with the president of the Conference, Gianni Addis (mayor of Tempio) "due to the tone used in the last two Conferences and in the press which make it impossible to communicate in a calm manner to share the relevant problems of Gallura healthcare".
Addis, supported by the mayors who attended, claims its role legitimately attributed by an election last July and by the rules.
"It is clear that the general director gives a completely incorrect reading of the law: the regional law he refers to provides that the presidency of the Social and Health Conference is assumed not exclusively by the president of the Province but also by a representative of a territorial body of reference, elected by the mayors", replies Addis. The mayors of the Gallura towns expressed solidarity with their colleague and a negative opinion on the 2024 - 2027 budget drafted by the ASL Gallura, on the agenda of the assembly.
