The Sassari Police Chief has suspended the license of a bar in Olbia's historic center, which was used as a base for drug dealing.

This morning the Carabinieri executed the order, issued pursuant to Article 100 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (Tulps).

A regular haunt for criminals, the bar has been targeted by police. On the evening of April 8th, officers caught a man red-handed selling hashish to a buyer at the bar's entrance. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of cocaine and packaging materials inside the bar.

All these factors led to the belief that the premises were a base for drug dealing and prompted the Carabinieri to request a 15-day closure of the public establishment.
